The Hydrogenaton Protection Catalyst SCST-504 is mainly to protect the hydrogenation catalyst, removing silicon from the oil. In order to improve the light oil yield, people always adds some defoamer at the coking device. The silicon of the defoamer will deposit the channel, causing deactivation of catalyst. So the SCST-504 catalyst is significant.
