SiCl₄ Cold Hydrogenation Catalyst

After years of research, we developed a SiCl₄ Cold Hydrogenation Catalyst SCST-801, which converts the by-product SiCl₄ (abbreviated as STC) into SiHCl₃ ( abbreviated as TCS) at the polysilicon production process. The conversion rate min is 25%.

The main reactions are as follows:

Si+ 2H₂ + 3SiCl₄ →4SiHCI₃

SiCl₄+Si+2H₂  → 2SiH₂Cl₂

2SiHCI₃  → SiCl₄+SiH₂Cl₂
