The high temperature methanol for hydrogen production catalyst is mainly used for the reforming and shift reaction of methanol and water at high temperatures over 300°C. The Methanol reacts with water vapor through the catalyst bed to produce H2, CO2, a little of CO and CH4 to get the desired hydrogen. The catalyst is our latest research achievement and applied to the methanol hydrogen production process of methanol fuel cell system, methanol combustion boiler, and methanol hydrogen production system.
The main reactions are as following:
CH3OH+H2O=CO2+3H2 +49.5 kJ/mol
CH3OH=CO+2H2 +90.7 kJ/mol
CO+H2O=CO2+H2 +41.19kJ/mol
2CH3OH =CH3OCH3+H2O -24.9 kJ/mol
CO+3H2=CH4+H2O -206.3 kJ/mol
