The secondary steam reforming catalyst SCST-213 is worked on the system of ammonia, hydrogen and methanol using the synthesis gas, such as natural gas and coke furnace gas. The methane and water vapor react with each other to produce the hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
The main reactions are as following:
CH4 + H2O(g)→ CO + 3H2 -206.3 KJ/mol
CH4 + 2H2O(g)→ CO2 + 4H2-165.3 KJ/mol
CO + H2O(g)→ CO2 + H2 + 41.19 KJ/mol
2H2 + O2 → 2H2O + 241.8 KJ/mol
【Industrial Applications】
- The catalyst is suitable for the system of ammonia, methanol, hydrogen plant using natural gas and coke oven gas;
- The catalyst is suitable for the hydrogen plant using catalytic dry gas and coking dry gas;
- The catalyst is suitable for methanol synthesis and ammonia plant using oil field gas, refinery gas and naphtha.

【Operation Conditions】
- Temperature:650 ~ 1400℃
- Pressure:≤ 5.0MPa
- Steam / Carbon:2.0 ~ 5.0(base on the primary reformer inlet)
- Space velocity:800 ~ 2000h-1
- Heat resistance: not be molten or adhesive when burning at 1400℃ for four hours.
