Yuyuan Biotechnology Used New SCST Hydrogen Catalyst, Conversion Rate Near to 100%

(Correspondent Li Long) On August 12, 2021, Ningxia Yuyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. adopted the new SCST-401-53 methanol steaming-reforming catalyst and SCST series adsorbent for the first time. At present, operating load is 120%, temperature is 230 ~ 235℃, the purity of H2 is 99.999% through PSA and the residual methanol is not detected in the water washing tower. The methanol conversion rate is close to 100% in a single pass, which has achieved obvious energy-saving effects and further consolidated Shutai's dominant position in the field of methanol steaming-reforming catalysts.

In December 2020, Sichuan Shutai found the convertion rate of a new type methanol steaming-refoeming catalyst is higher than the original high-copper catalyst, which use new material and process.After many trial production and test, it is said the new catalyst is better than other domestic similar products. The catalyst has been used in 5 sets of plant under 2000Nm3/h for trial. At present, the residual methanol in the water washing tower was not detected. It can be predicted that the catalyst will have a good promotion value.
