Recently, the low temperature shift catalyst of Sinochem Fuling Chemical’s 800,000-ton phosphate project passed an open tender and confirmed to use Shutai’s low temperature shift catalyst SCST-231. It is the second time to cooperate with Sinochem members after Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical’s cooperation in the methanol hydrogen production project.
Sinochem Chongqing Fuling Chemical Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned enterprise, key enterprise in Fuling District, top 50 industrial enterprise in Chongqing and top 30 enterprise in the national fertilizer manufacturing industry. By public bidding and strict comparison by Sinochem's technical experts, the company finally decided to use shutai’s SCST-231-53 copper-based low-temperature shift catalyst, which further established the leading position of this type of catalyst in the industry.
The low temperature shift catalyst SCST-231-53 shaped and developed independently by Shutai not only inherits the advantages of traditional low temperature shift catalyst, but also learn the new theory of catalyst research. SCST-231-53 adopts a new supported co-precipitation production process. It has low ignition loss, small shrinkage, good dispersion of active components, excellent anti-toxic performance, high strength and less by-products.
The low temperature shift catalyst SCST-231 have been successfully used in the CNOOC Hainan Fudao(capacity 450,000 ton/year), Ordos Chemical Industry(capacity 540,000 ton/year), Ordos United Chemical Industry( capacity 300,000 ton/year *2) and so on. All the plants runs stably and catalyst life and comsuption have reached the best.
