Shutai builds a new highland for hydrogen industry; school-enterprise cooperation strengthen

On August 5, 2019, Professor Zhangqi from EastChina University of Science and Technology, and Professore Zhoulv from NanjingUniversity of Science and Technology visited Shutai Chemical and exchanged thetechnology about the Green energy of Hydrogen with the General Manager XuYunbo, Chief Engineer Li Huabo and the technicians.

Shutai is the famous industrial catalyst manufacturer and engineering designer, whose business covers catalyst manufacturing, engineering design, hydrogen production equipment, etc. Our products and technologies are widely used for ammonia synthesis plant, hydrogen production plant, oil refining plant, methanol synthesis plant, nitric acid tail gas treatment plant, detoxification purification plant, environmental protection plant, methanol fuel cell system, e.t.c and are widely used in the 31 provinces in China and 15 countries and districts around the world, such as United States, Turkey, Belarus, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, etc. Shutai owns a young, knowledgeable and professional technical team led by Dr. Li Huabo, an expert of the “Thousand Talents Program” in Sichuan Province. Cooperating with colleges, Shutai has built many scientific research platforms of Sichuan Enterprise Technology Center, Academician Experts Workstation in Suining, Suinging Key Laboratory and so on. It has obtained 37 national patents, 2 national scientific and technological achievements, and 8 provincial and municipal science and technology awards and the research and application technology of N₂O furnace emission reduction catalyst production technology has filled the domestic gap.

Professor Zhang Qi is focus on the field of new environmentallyfriendly materials and fuel cell systems and Professor Zhou Lu is focus on the fieldof new material application. in the fuel cell system and green hydrogen energytechnology exchange of Sichuan Yutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., the twoprofessors brought the advanced research progress and the results of theirrespective research in the field of hydrogen energy, and combined with thesuccessful technology of Shutai to break through the current methanol. Throughtechnical exchanges, the two sides reached a number of unanimous opinions andformed preliminary cooperation intentions.Technology is the strong foundation for the country and nation. After the State Council’s document on “Deep Implementation of theNational Intellectual Property Strategy to Build an IP Strong Country PromotionPlan”, the exchanges and cooperation between the two professors and Shutai willenable the “intellectual production” and “assets” to be interpreted cyclicallyfor social development.
