Shutai Co-constructed “Expert Workstation” with Southwest University of Science and Technology

(Reporter: Li wenjing) On July 9, 2019, the signing ceremony of the sixth batch of experts of the “University•EnterpriseInnovative Talent Team Support Program” was successfully held in Suining City.Sichuan Shutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. Participated and signed withProfessor Kang Ming of Southwest University of Science and Technology. The teamsuccessfully signed a cooperation agreement and the two sides jointly built an“expert workstation”.

Southwest University ofScience and Technology(SWUST）is located in Mianyang--theonly Science and Technology City in China, which is jointly built by the theState Administration of Science and Technology Industry of National Defence(SASTIND) and people's Government of Sichuan Province. SWUST has beenconstructed the State Key Laboratory of Environmentally Friendly EnergyMaterials, National Engineering Technology and Research Center InsulationMaterials (co-constructed), Provincial and ministerial key laboratory and soon. The team of ProfessorKang Ming has been engaged in the development of functional inorganic materialsand its application in the chemical industry, which hosted and participated inmany national science and technology support programs, the National 863Program, and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Plan. The team havebeen authorized many national invention patents and won the third prize ofSichuan Science and Technology Progress Award.

Shutai is the famous industrial catalystmanufacuturer and a National High-tech Enterprise, whose business covers catalystmanufacturing, engineering design, small hydrogen production equipment, etc. Hehas built many scientific research platforms, such as Sichuan EnterpriseTechnology Center, Academician Experts Workstation in Suining, Suinging KeyLaboratory and so on. And he established a good relationship with manywell-known university and research institutes in China.

Through the cooperation between the SWUST andShutai, both sides will deeply cooperate in the research development,transformation of results, co-building of platform, talent development and sonon. Thetwo sides jointly stated that they will further strengthen communication,implement cooperation projects, expand cooperation areas, enhance theirtechnological innovation capabilities, and promote mutual development.
