Accomplishment and transport to the installation site of the skid-mounted demonstration device for room-temperature catalytic heating coupled methanol to hydrogen production

    On May 31, 2023, the demonstration device for catalytic heating coupled methanol hydrogen production by Guangdong Huizhou HZLT Company of Sichuan Shutai EPC was completed at room temperature, and successfully arrived at the installation site on June 1, entering the on-site assembly stage. The system is an important part of Huizhou HZLT Company's 300,000 tons/year polyene baking new material project (Phase I), hydrogen purity index ≥99.99%

    SCST-CHMR methanol hydrogen production process independently developed by Sichuan Shutai has been successfully applied in more than 10 sets of devices. It has the characteristics of energy saving, ultra-low emission, high integration, saving land, safety and reliability, and is suitable for 50 ~ 20000Nm3/h methanol reforming hydrogen production system. Compared with the conventional process, SCST-CHMR technology does not require external heating source and open fire boiler, PSA desorbing does not require environmental treatment or discharge, through Shutai special SCST-90X catalytic oxidation catalyst at room temperature, the reaction releases a lot of low heat for methanol water vaporization and reforming reaction heating, catalytic heating system not only recovers PSA desorbing waste heat, The VOCs components in PSA desorption and other devices are also processed to achieve ultra-low standard emissions and zero NOx emissions, saving boiler footprint. The system covers an area of only 84m3, which is 50% less than the traditional technology.

    In response to the national green chemical industry development strategy, Sichuan Shutai established the "Sichuan Alcohol Hydrogen Conversion Engineering Technology Research and Development Center", based on China's methanol hydrogen production technology and new methanol catalysts to provide technical support. Based on this, Shutai has developed high efficiency catalytic oxidation catalyst at room temperature, catalytic heating coupled methanol hydrogen production process at room temperature, integrated small methanol hydrogen production machine, high and low temperature methanol hydrogen production catalyst, etc. And is committed to hydrogen production users, hydrogen fuel cell enterprises, hydrogen stations and hydrogen supply enterprises, methanol hydrogen production engineering and technology enterprises, universities and research and development institutions to provide catalyst and hydrogen production technology services.
